The Static Spark

The Static Spark centers on the fringed parrot tulip, whose serrated petals mimic the appearance of a localized electrical event. When these high-voltage orange and yellow flares are placed against the dense, grounding effect of the peach stock, the visual tension increases significantly.

It is a study in friction—the smoothness of the ranunculus versus the unpredictable, sparking perimeter of the tulips.
